Isabelle's throne

Little did we know that when we bought Isabelle her training toilet today, she would be more excited than if it was Christmas morning. I set up her big girl potty next to the real toilet in our master bathroom, thinking she could get used to seeing it in there and would eventually want to sit down on it.

When she entered the bathroom to take her bath this evening, she sat down on the toilet and we couldn't get her off - she sat there for 20 minutes and kept checking the bowl to see if there was anything in there. Clearly she's learning something at daycare, because while she was sitting on her potty she said the words "pee pee" (not a term we use in our house) and "poop." She even grabbed a handful of toilet paper and tried to wipe.

And so it begins.... crossing all my fingers and toes that we can train her early!

Daycare already has Brady "trying" on the potty! Everytime they go in the bathroom to change his diaper he sits on the potty. I was shocked they were doing it already. Ok with me....just means I need to get on the ball and get our little potty out at home. (I am just nervous that Jack is going to want to start using it again!)
