This morning we took Isabelle to an activity center our neighbor recommended, called Playwerx. It's essentially a giant climbing structure in a warehouse in Carlsbad - complete with padded slides, ball pits, tunnels, etc. There is also a coloring room where the kids are allowed to draw on anything they want - including the walls.
For $5 per child (free for adults) you can stay all day. There is also a cafe with a coffee bar and healthy snacks and lunch items - everything from apple slices and PB&J, to chicken wraps and veggie burgers.
Isabelle had a blast! Her favorite activity was jumping in the ball pit....over, and over, and over again...
