The parade of grandparents

Yesterday Jason's mom returned to Michigan after spending 10 days with us over the Thanksgiving holiday. Understandably she was all too happy to help take care of Isabelle, who preferred to nap in Margaret's arms instead of her bassinet or crib.

Margaret also saw Isabelle get her very first bath - it was funny because she couldn't decide whether to be scared or relax and enjoy it. She screamed herself hoarse and started shaking when I first dipped her into the baby tub, but calmed down when I started cleaning her with the warm washcloth.

Tomorrow Grandma and Grandpa Koski arrive for their week-long visit, and just in time to enjoy some beautiful "Santa Ana" weather - it's 70 degrees and sunny today (it's been in the low 60s the last few days).
