Tania's Book Review

Runaway
by Alice Munro

Munro is a wonderful writer - her short stories are like tiny little novels with fascinating characters and plot twists. I think she has a strong grasp on human behavior and relationships - our personality quirks, eccentricities, the way we treat people...

In Runaway, the main character in each story was a woman; the stories explored these women and their relationships, both good and bad, with their husbands, parents, children, and friends.

This was a fast read and I enjoyed all of the stories, particularly "Passion" and "Tricks."

Verdict: 5 stars out of 5
