My 12-week "vacation"

Yesterday was my last day of work until February 16. It was a pretty quiet day; one of my co-workers is out of state at a conference, and the other two were wrapped up most of the day particpating in the "Great California Shake-Out" disaster drill, which simulated a massive earthquake.

I took my lunch down to the beach and ate in my car... it was a beautiful day!

I had planned to sleep in this morning, but when Jason left for work I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep. So I'm in the midst of dying my hair, and then I'm going to go get a pedicure and run a few errands. And an afternoon nap is not out of the question...

You will definitely want to take a nap because I have a feeling that you will be operating on limited sleep for the next few months! But it will be worth it. Enjoy your day...because tomorrow you are going to be a mommy!
