Anyway, Saturday we woke up early and had breakfast at a diner downtown, then got all of our errands out of the way - groceries, Target, and a quick run into Linens n' Things to buy some shades for the window in our guest room.
After realizing our afternoon movie was sold out, we bought tickets for the 4:45 show on the regular screen and killed time before the movie at Barnes & Noble. The movie itself was excellent - definitely 4 stars. I'd heard great things about Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker, and thought he was brilliant.
Today we got up early again so we could get to the beach by 10:00 and find a good spot before it got too crowded. We stayed until about 12:30, then stopped for Jamba Juice smoothies on the way home.
I've got a baby shower for a co-worker at 5:00 this afternoon, and Jason is heading into work for a few hours to get a few things done before he leaves for D.C. tomorrow (another work trip).
