The final payment

I just wrote a check for my very last car payment. After five years of monthly payments, my car is finally paid off! And despite being five years old, my '03 Mitsubishi Galant is still a great little car (knock on wood). Despite the expensive maintenance package I pay for every 30,000 miles or so, I've never had to make a major repair and the car should last us a couple more years since I've only got about 84,000 miles on it. And, it's still under warranty (7 years/100,000 miles).

Perfect timing, too, because the amount I pay each month for my car is about the same amount that our new rent has increased per month, so the two will cancel each other out...
