I picked up Jessica and Janine from the airport late Wednesday morning and took them back to my house to unpack and settle in. Jessica was nice enough to bring me some leftover baby items she had found at their house - some unopened onesies and receiving blankets, and their "Baby Bjorn" baby carrier (which their son has outgrown).
We headed to Hillcrest for lunch at Pizza Nova, then spent several hours shopping at the mall. We picked Cindy up from the airport around 7:30, then headed into Little Italy where we had a very nice dinner at Buon Appetito.
Naturally they were all tired from traveling - Jessica and Janine had been up for almost 24 hours at this point - so we all headed to bed as soon as we arrived home.
