My work week ended today, as three of my friends - Janine, Jessica, and Cindy - are flying to San Diego tomorrow and staying until Sunday. Jason's annual "guys trip" starts tomorrow in Boulder, so I figured if he's out of town having fun with the guys, the girls should come here and take over our apartment!
Jason will be out of town longer than anticipated. He unexpectedly had to fly to Indiana early this morning for work, which meant he had to cancel his original ticket to Boulder from San Diego and fly straight there from Indianapolis instead. And Sunday, instead of coming home from Boulder he has to fly to New York City for work. His boss was considering sending him to Cleveland from NYC, which would mean he'd be out of town from today until June 27, but decided he doesn't need to go to Cleveland after all. So he'll be home on June 25 - just in time for his June 28 birthday!
The girls and I have a couple of planned activities, including a kayaking trip on Saturday and an evening downtown one night to have drinks (a Shirley Temple for me) and see the "Sex & the City"movie. Other than that, we'll probably play it by ear.

Have fun with the girls! Hopefully mother nature will cooperate better and you guys can go kayaking; let us know what it's like!
