We saw some pretty views of the Olivenhaim Reservoir and an area called Harmony Grove, but by the end of our hike I was ready for a shower!

The Elfin Forest
Today Jason and I went on a 3-mile hike in the Elfin Forest recreational reserve, which is located near Escondido. Having never hiked this particular trail, we didn't realize that the first leg of the hike, called the "Way Up Trail," is literally a steep 1.5-mile uphill hike. And it was in the low 80s today.
