Girls Trip, Day 2

Thursday morning we woke up and had homemade breakfast, courtesy of Jessica. She made us an apple cinammon strata, which was basically like bread pudding for breakfast. We spent the first part of the day in La Jolla, walking along the shoreline followed by some shopping in the downtown area and lunch at a Mediterranean restaurant overlooking the water.

That night we went downtown and had Indian food for dinner, and saw the movie we've all been dying to see for weeks - "Sex & the City!" Not only was the movie fantastic, but we capped it off with ice cream from the Ghirardelli soda foundation that is next door to the theater.

You can't tell from this picture, but it was bright and sunny and hot on Thursday - at the time this picture was taken, the marine layer was still so thick that it looked like a storm was rolling in!
