Our Saturday adventure

Yesterday we decided to explore Point Loma, a small peninsula that lies parallel to both Coronado island and the downtown San Diego harbor. We visited the tide pools first, then drove to the lookout area where there is a panoramic view of the ocean, the harbor, Coronado, and the city.

After our excursion, we drove into downtown and had dinner at Buon Appetito, our favorite restaurant in Little Italy. And after dinner, we stopped by Extraordinary Desserts and picked up a couple of things to take home - a piece of coconut cream cake, a white chocolate and fresh berry trifle, and a chocolate cheesecake brownie. Mmm...

Very pretty! I love how you can take all these adventures and discover new parts of the city. Was Buen Appetito where we went and had Mr. Madagascar for a waiter?
