I have the lyrics to "Santa Monica" by Everclear stuck in my head today. Why? Because Jason and I are heading up to Santa Monica this afternoon!
He has to be there through Sunday for work, to help with the NFL rookie photo shoot, so I'm taking advantage of the free hotel room that is on the beach and only a couple blocks from the Santa Monica Pier. While he's working, I'm going to lay on the beach, explore the pier, and possibly book a pedicure or facial at the onsite spa.
When we return Sunday, we need to start thinking about our trip to the U.P. Bubby's parents will be staying in our apartment while we're gone, as they're making a trip out here from Michigan - this means we need to clean. And since we leave early Tuesday morning, we should probably start some of our packing.
