A nice surprise

My work day ended with a meeting that ran long because we rehashed the same tired topics related to the soon-to-be-launched, brand new company website: why the online physician finder doesn't work properly, and won't work until the medical group's credentialing software and the health system's credentialing software sync up. BLAH!

It's a project that I'm stuck in the middle of even though I have nothing to do with physician credentialing, and it's a conversation I've had over and over and over with no progress and no solution in sight, and I was frustrated on my drive home.

As I was walking up the stairs to my apartment, I saw a bright green box leaning against our front door. It was a bouquet of flowers from FTD! My friend Brooke sent me a beautiful arrangement of pink roses and white lilies, and they immediately cheered me up.

The roses smell heavenly! Thank you, Brooke!
