Colored or white lights?
Colored lights on the tree, white lights on the house.

Do you hang mistletoe?
No. I don't need to trick my husband into kissing me.

When do you put your decorations up?
Jason puts up the tree the weekend after Thanksgiving. (By "putting it up," I mean he takes it out of the box, unfolds the branches, and plugs it in). Normally I finish decorating that same weekend, but this year I haven't gotten around to it.

Favorite Holiday memory as a child?
Going to my grandma's house every year on Christmas day.

When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
What is the truth about Santa? Does he have a checkered past?

Snow: Love it or hate it?
I love living in San Diego because there is no snow. But I do prefer a white Christmas.

Can you ice skate?
I had an ice rink in my yard when I was a kid. I probably could have been an Olympic contender, but my parents quit maintaining the rink when I was about 5 or 6. Sigh.

Do you remember your favorite gift?
Getting a Cabbage Patch Kid in second grade. Followed closely by the engagement ring I received a few days before Christmas in 2004.

What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you?
Seeing family and friends

What is your favorite holiday dessert?
Special-K bars (no, really)

What is your favorite holiday tradition?
Eating
Red Starbucks cups come out in December

What is your favorite Christmas Song?
Silent Night, because it reminds me of playing with fire in church (when I was a kid, that was the song where we got to hold a lighted candle while singing and peel off the hot wax that melted onto our hands)

Do you like candy canes?
No.
