Today we just wanted a nice, low-key day. A couple of friends came over at 9 a.m. for breakfast after the girls hunted for eggs and their Easter baskets, and we spent the next several hours hanging out in the back yard playing with the kids.

Happy Easter!
The weather was gorgeous this weekend, high 60s and sunny - perfect for spending a lot of time outside! Yesterday we took the girls to an Easter festival in Solana Beach that included an egg scramble, bounce house, free toys and refreshments.
Today we just wanted a nice, low-key day. A couple of friends came over at 9 a.m. for breakfast after the girls hunted for eggs and their Easter baskets, and we spent the next several hours hanging out in the back yard playing with the kids.
