Happy birthday, Olivia!

It's been a year since little Olivia... okay, "not-so-little" Olivia entered the world at a whopping 9 pounds, 4 ounces, on her great-grandmother Edith's birthday.

For her first few days of life we called her "the condor" because of the high-pitched screech she made when she got hungry. She had giant brown eyes that already seemed wise and calm at only a day old, and she's definitely been a laid-back, happy baby (except when she's hungry!).

In honor of her own birthday, Olivia started walking a few days ago. She's probably traveled about a dozen steps without falling down - she'll be sprinting around the house chasing after her big sister in no time!

Some of Olivia's favorite things: climbing the stairs (over and over and over), going outside, sitting in the big-girl seat in the grocery cart, taking baths, strawberries, string cheese, and her latest love--swinging in the toddler swing at the park.

Happy birthday, Olivia!
