The Fitzee Machine

When I returned to work following maternity leave, I discovered a cool new refrigerated "vending machine" in the lunch room at our corporate office. A local vendor called Fitzee Foods stocks the self-serve case with pre-made breakfast, lunch and snack items that just need to be reheated. The best part? The meals are all healthy, made with free-range meat and organic ingredients. There are also vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free options.

I visited the "Fitzee machine" last week when I forgot my lunch, and had a tasty piece of lasagna made with ground turkey and spinach. I also picked up a serving of yummy trail mix, which contained cashews, almonds, cranberries and shredded coconut.

I try to bring my own lunch most days to save money, but this is a very healthy, convenient alternative!
