Trimming the tree

Last week Sunday, Isabelle was SO EXCITED to help us set up our new fake Christmas tree and decorate it. She helped place the garland and made sure she was involved in the decision to place every individual ornament on the branches. Throughout the process she kept exclaiming, "It's so beautiful, Mommy!"

As with most things in our house, she now thinks the tree is hers. If she comes home and it's already turned on, she turns it off and then on again because she thinks it's her job to light up the tree!
