Isabelle went trick-or-treating for the first time tonight, and she had a BLAST! We thought she might be a bit shy at first and need a little help from mom and dad, but she clearly is a natural born trick-or-treater. At every house she'd say trick-or-treat while giving the adult doe eyes so they'd encourage her take two pieces of candy, then she'd say "thank you!" and run down the street as fast as she could yelling, "I want more candy!"
There is apparently an urban legend about young kids who are Isabelle's age tiring easily during their first real Halloween - meaning the parents don't need to worry about stopping by too many houses. Whoever is spreading these rumors has never met Isabelle. She would have trick-or-treated until midnight if we would have let her!
