San Diego's annual "June gloom" appears to finally be over, which resulted in gorgeous weather this long holiday weekend. We took advantage of our extra day off with a relaxing picnic in the park this afternoon - relaxing for me, because I layed on a blanket in the shade with a book, and fun for Isabelle who spent a couple hours playing in the sand, climbing on the playground equipment, and riding her bike.
The best part? Isabelle wore herself out, and is taking a nap for the first time this weekend!
