I realize I haven't updated the blog in nearly three weeks - I've been so overwhelmingly busy, working long hours and balancing my job with being a mom, that by the end of each long day I collapse into bed, almost too tired to brush my teeth much less get on the computer.
Tonight I'm leaving on a much needed vacation to visit my friend Brooke, her boyfriend Eric, and their new baby Kirra who was born a week and a half ago. I'm taking a red-eye out of San Diego at 10:30, and will arrive in North Carolina tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. I'm staying until Saturday afternoon.
So I'll have to update the blog with pictures of my new niece when I return home this weekend - and perhaps Jason will feel compelled to post some of his adventures with Isabelle in the meantime!
