We booked our tickets for a trip back to Michigan this summer--it will essentially be a tour of the Great Lakes, as we'll be visiting both the upper and lower peninsulas!
We'll leave San Diego Friday, May 27 and fly into Chicago; from there we'll drive up to the U.P. and stay with my family for several days, then drive down to the Grand Rapids area tentatively Wednesday or Thursday (June 1 or 2) and stay until Sunday, when we'll drive back to Chicago to catch our return flight home.
I'm hoping this is plenty of advance notice for my friends and family in the U.P., as well as those in driving distance of GR - I want to cram in as many visits as possible!
