Today it rained for the first time in months, and believe it or not it was one of Isabelle's first experiences with rain. She was fascinated--and wanted so badly to splash around in the puddles barefoot that when Jason brought her home, he endured 45 minutes of standing in the rain getting soaked in his work clothes to give her the opportunity to enjoy the experience.
Luckily Jason was able to capture some short videos with his cell phone, including this hilarious one of Isabelle trying to dunk her head in a tiny puddle:

I love it! Some of my favorite memories as a kid were playing in the long ditch in our yard after it rained. Maybe someday I'll bring Isabelle to my ditch and she and the girls can play too;)
What fun! When Anne and her brother were young while raining I would announce time for a rain dance. We would all go outside with clothing getting soaked just dancing away. Anne and Jack loved it and their friends were jealous that their mom's did not allow such behavior:) Patti
