Isabelle's first Halloween

Isabelle had a blast staying up past her bedtime last night and watching all the trick-or-treaters parade by. We camped out at the end of the driveway with some beach chairs and a blanket, passing out candy and (of course) Upper Deck sports cards. A lot of our neighbors have young children who weren't interested in trick-or-treating as a two-hour sport, so there was essentially a block party in our cul-de-sac made up of parents drinking adult beverages while their kids swapped candy and ran around in their costumes.

How fun to pass stuff out at the end of your driveway - good idea. I laughed out loud at handing out Upper Deck cards. Doesn't Isabelle know that chewing on the cards decreases their value?!

Ridiculously adorable. I can't believe how big she is...and she is going to be ONE in just a couple of weeks. Will you be heading this way around the holidays?
