Today is Isabelle's first birthday! Clearly she's not aware of her 12-month milestone, so she's not disappointed about the fact that we're not having a birthday party for her until Saturday. My parents will be in town for a week, so we decided to have a small get-together including my family and some co-workers and their children. I'll serve sangria and beer for the adults and birthday cake for the kids :-)
I'm sure we'll be able to snap some great pictures of her smashing cake and ripping into her birthday presents (while trying to eat the wrapping paper), so stay tuned for photos on Sunday.
