Upcoming festivities

Summer must be here, because our calendar is filling up with fun activities! We’re going to be very busy over the next couple of weeks but we’re very much looking forward to it! A snapshot of what's to come:

• Tonight – Jason’s good friend Amanda, along with her husband Chris and their 5-month-old baby, are coming to our house for dinner tonight. They're in town from El Paso, visiting Los Angeles and San Diego this week.
• Tomorrow – We’re having a family outing at the San Diego Zoo with Amanda, Chris, and Haylee, then picking up Jason’s mom from the airport at 5:00 as she’s visiting for 10 days.
• Sunday – Father’s Day will be low-key, I’m planning to let Jason sleep in and make him breakfast in bed, then we may catch an afternoon movie.
• June 27 – We’re going to a party for three of my co-workers who are turning 30, 40, and 50.
• June 28 – Jason’s birthday!
• July 2 – We fly to Cleveland for my good friend and former roommate Alison’s wedding! We’re bringing Isabelle so she can meet her aunties Alison, Cindy and Janine.
• July 23 – Jason and I are flying to Seattle for his good friend Phil’s wedding. It will be an adults-only trip as my mom is flying out here from Michigan to watch Isabelle for us. While we’re there, we’re planning to meet up with my old boss Tina and her husband, who now live outside of Seattle.
