Aloe socks?

I went to the mall on the way home tonight to run a few errands, including a stop into Bath & Body Works to pick up some lip balm that I like. I noticed they had a huge display of socks, which caught my attention because I've been meaning to pick up some cozy socks or slippers to take to the hospital with me next weekend. Not only did they look super soft, but they were on sale so I grabbed two pairs and got in line.

I was reading the tag and almost started laughing when I saw that they're "aloe socks" - supposedly they're infused with real aloe and will moisturize your feet while you wear them. In fact, the aloe goodness will last for 20-30 washes!

I did buy the socks - but not because of their magical aloe properties. I tried them on when I got home and they are extraordinarily comfortable!

One note about the aloe socks, for anyone considering buying them. They have these little non-skid grips on the bottom because the soft material makes them a bit slippery; the grips work, but if you're walking on hard wood or linoleum, after a while you can feel the grips through the sock, like you're walking on sand or something.

I got those same socks on Tuesday! Except I didnt realize they had aloe, bonus! I was a victim of the free stuff. I went in to claim my 2 free items, then relized I could get a 3rd free item with a purchase and since the socks were on sale, I got those! I figured I'd keep one pair and give another as a Christmas gift, huh maybe I'll keep both!
