It's hard to believe, but the baby could be here in less than 11 weeks - as of Wednesday I'll be 30 weeks pregnant. We signed up for some classes that will keep us busy for the entire month of October.
Our sessions kick off on Saturday, September 27 with a tour of the labor and delivery unit at the hospital where I'll be delivering. Then that Friday, October 3, we start four weeks worth of evening childbirth classes - these are the standard classes that will teach us about labor and delivery, etc. And we're also taking a class two Wednesday evenings in October to learn about baby care basics - feeding, sleeping, diapering, immunizations, and all that good stuff. I guess the second half of the class is with a pediatrician who does a Q&A session with all of us soon-to-be-first-time parents.
We'll probably sign up for the infant & child CPR class as well, but need to figure out when we can fit it into our schedules.

Have fun at your classes. Even though Dave and I only did the weekend crash course, we are glad that we did. I was excused from my "bed rest" in order to go and the nurse was way overprotective. She wanted me to use a wheelchair for the tour and I was like "No way!"
Dave and I were also totally the ones laughing at inappropriate times.
I'll be anxious to hear your comments!!!!
