I bought my first maternity clothes after work tonight, after a co-worker who is also pregnant recommended Motherhood Maternity in the mall near our office. I'm 4-1/2 months pregnant now, and showing just enough that I've outgrown all of my pants. For the last week I've felt stuffed behind my structured button-up pants, and I knew that within a week I wasn't going to have anything to wear! No work pants, no jeans, no khakis or shorts or cargo pants...
I was afraid that I'm still in an in-between phase, where my own clothes are too tight yet I'm still too small for actual maternity clothes. And I was afraid that I'd spent the next five months wearing tents that looked about as attractive as my grandmother's floral couch.
However, Motherhood Maternity is now my new favorite store! I couldn't believe how cheap the clothes were - although I must say, considering that I'll only be wearing these clothes for a couple of months, they SHOULD be cheap. And not only are they cheap, but they're cute!
These two shirts were only $19.99 -
I think in a few weeks I'll go back and buy a few dresses so I have something to wear besides pants this summer, but right now my legs are so sunburned - sunburned in strange patches, and peeling - that they need to be hidden for a while...

Those are super cute shirts! Didn't someone give you preggo underwear for your bachelorette party? he he
I shopped at that store a lot. Another good place is Old Navy for casual weekend stuff. I bought a lot of maternity wife-beater tanks in fun colors for working out while I was preggers. They became my favorite shirts.

I also got some good lots on ebay.
Yes, Michele gave me maternity underwear at my bachelorette party. Although at the time they were meant for "birth control." :-) Sorry Michele, I no longer have the huge preggo panties...
For being maternity clothes, they are very cute and stylish.
Are you kidding me? The Preggo Panties didn't make the move to San Diego. Well, it's a good thing...if you had worn those, we wouldn't be celebrating the new Masharah to be. I also found a bunch of casual/sitting around clothes for cheap on ebay. Just type in Maternity (fill in your size here) Lot...and you can get a bunch of stuff for really cheap.
