Now that we are back from vacation, we need to devote the month of June to finding a new home so we can move in July.
We are looking at a three-bedroom condo for rent in Encinitas on Saturday morning. The pictures look gorgeous - it's been fully upgraded - but of course we want to see it in person. The only drawback is it has 1.5 baths instead of two (it's great having a full second bathroom, not just for our frequent visitors but for ourselves!), but otherwise it sounds perfect and it's in our price range.
We are also trying to set up a time to look at a duplex for rent on June 7, but the landlord is a little funny. She emailed me a list of questions to answer before she would send me the street address for the open house, and one of her questions was whether or not Jason and I are vegetarians. I replied back with a half-dozen questions of my own, and told her that our choice of diet has no bearing on our ability to be good tenants.
We'll see if she lets us look at her place or not :-)

That is so odd she would ask about your food status. Maybe she doesn't want meat in the kitchen? Odd.
Ok, I just read this one. I am glad you told her her question was ridiculous.....sounds like a place to stay away from
