The rest of our weekend was a lot of fun. Saturday at 11:30 I headed out to the beach for about an hour and a half, and read my book in the sun. After having lunch and showering, I took a walk down to the Third Street Promenade, which is a shopping district that is closed off to cars. There are several blocks worth of stores and restaurants and I amused myself at Zara, Borders, and Sephora.Jason was done with his work stuff around 6:30 so we went out for dinner, then ended the night by watching TV and ordering dessert from room service.A couple pictures from the trip:This was the view of the water from where I was sitting on the balcony Friday night:

Looks nice to me. I like the view you had and just the picture of the beach makes me long for warmer weather...you know the stuff we have not had here except for the one saturday that you and Jason were home......
