Tonight we are planning to drive up to L.A. after traffic thins out. We'll stay overnight and spend tomorrow exploring Hollywood and whatever tourist attractions the Frommer's guide tells us to check out.
Margaret has visited us in San Diego a couple of times now, so we thought we'd show her a different (spicier? dirtier?) side of southern California. If nothing else, the people-watching will be great...
