Although I don't consider myself high maintenance, I'll freely admit that I can be a girly-girl sometimes. This weekend has been one of those times. Jason has been out of town the last few nights, attending the annual meeting for graduates of the Indiana University Sports & Entertainment Academy (a program he was in while pursuing his MBA).
While I've spent a good chunk of the weekend doing some spring cleaning and running errands, I've also made sure to relax and enjoy some "me" time. I went and got a pedicure on Thursday night, and last night I watched "What Not to Wear" with a mud mask on my face. And today I went to the mall, where I bought some new makeup from the Laura Mercier counter at Nordstrom's and then window shopped while sipping an iced coffee. And for dinner, I had take-out Pad Thai from Pei Wei. Mmmm....
Jason's flight lands around 9:00 tonight. Although we don't have any formal Easter plans tomorrow, we are meeting a potential new landlord tomorrow morning to see one of the apartments he has available.

I'm right there with you! I had a spa day with my friend Julie today. one and a half hour massage with a blueberry soy sugar scrub and then a facial. This is after I spent yesterday with Tyler, Emm and Alex including the movie "Horton Hears A Who". SO today was all about me I guess!

Ah, pedicures! I need to get one. My gems from when we were in SD have mostly worn off. Can't wait to hear about the apartment hunting...
