I'm in a great mood today - not only do I have a short work week, but my friends Kim and Anne are coming for a visit! They arrive Wednesday night and leave Sunday morning.
We don't have the entire trip planned out, but some of the items on our agenda include hiking, pedicures, shopping, and of course eating some good meals out - on Friday night we are having dinner downtown at Chive, possibly followed by a trip to Extraordinary Desserts! We are considering going kayaking in La Jolla on Saturday morning, but that will be a last-minute decision based on the weather.
I'll be sure to chronicle our activities and add fun photos!

There's just one thing wrong with this post. You say "possible trip to Extraordinary Desserts". Possibly?! This is Anne and Kim you're talking about:-) Our hike will make up for it! Can't wait. Michigan is so overrated.
