Finito.

Two hours ago, I read the last page in the last book of the Harry Potter series. After reading non-stop since July 27, I've finished all seven books - 4,100 pages worth. I'm still glad I decided to read the first six again, because it really set the stage for the finale; there were a lot of details in between books 1 and 7 that were subtly related to each other, that I would not have remembered otherwise.

I snuck in a couple of pages while I ate lunch at my desk today, and if anyone would have popped their head in my door they would have seen me propping open the book with one hand, with a chicken wrap clutched in my other hand, and tears in my eyes. I'm such a nerd.

The good news is, I finished just in time - my creative writing class starts in two days, and judging by the two books I had to buy I know I'll need time to read for class...
