I quietly celebrated my first 29th birthday on Saturday; it was "day two" of a very relaxing three-day weekend, as I took Friday off to enjoy some down time after a stressful work week.Jason took me out to dinner at Cafe Luna, one of my favorite local italian restaurants, and then surprised me with concert tickets! It just so happened that Incubus, a band I've liked for about 10 years, was playing at Coors Amphitheater just south of San Diego the night of my birthday.
We had great seats and the weather was perfect. We didn't make it in time to see the opening act, but the second band, The Bravery, was very good. Incubus put on an excellent live show, which was nice to see - I've seen a lot of bands who sound terrible outside of the recording studio.
Thank you to everyone who called, e-mailed, or sent cards; that was definitely the best part of my day!

So that's what you did on your birthday. I have been wondering as you weren't sure when I talked with you that day. Jason came through with another nice surprise!!!! Nice going Jason!!!!! By the way, I love you for being so good to my daughter.
