As is our tradition, Isabelle and I made cookies for Santa earlier this evening. We left two on a plate for the big guy, along with an orange (Isabelle insisted Santa needed an orange, too) and carrots for the reindeer. The note to Santa she wrote with a little help from me - but even though I had to teach her how to spell "from" and "Olivia," she wrote the letters all by herself!

And after Santa and his reindeer paraded through our house at 11:45 p.m.... note the empty glass, Isabelle made me promise I would leave Santa a glass of cold milk to drink.

What a nice idea for Isabelle to want to round out Santa's snack with a piece of fruit! Very cute.
