Olivia's first Thanksgiving

This photo of Olivia sleeping through her first Thanksgiving is long overdue - but it has been CRAZY here.

Liv woke up with a fever Thanksgiving morning, started throwing up that night, and was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection on Friday afternoon. She had a fever that hovered at 102 degrees, with vomiting every time her temperature spiked, for about 72 hours before the antibiotics kicked in and starting fighting the infection.

She was feeling just well enough to go do daycare on Monday, and is finally back to her normal self - but her illness made for a long, scary holiday weekend followed by a very long work week that had me home later than 9 p.m. three nights this week. Top that with a power outage in our neighborhood on Thursday, and Jason traveling out of town today, and it's been quite an interesting week!

As they say - when it rains, it pours....
