The new addition to our family

Jason and I are ecstatic about our new purchase - a 2012 Honda CRV! Considering his car was 10 years old and has nearly 240,000 miles, and my car is 9 years old (but will likely last another 5 years), acquiring a brand new vehicle is a big deal for us!

We got a REALLY good deal - it's the EXL model, which is the roomiest, and some of the features include black leather interior; moonroof; rear entertainment system (DVD player) with two pairs of bluetooth wireless headphones; bluetooth enabled phone system; satellite radio; and a rear back-up camera (which I didn't think I'd ever use but it comes in really handy when you're not used to backing up an SUV in tight spaces!).

The CRV replaces Jason's ancient Grand Prix, which we are going to donate to our local PBS station. It will be our primary family car on the weekends, and of course I'll drive it when he's out of town!
