This photo is of my friend Kim and I enjoying our Starbucks lattes, while taking a stroll down Moonlight Beach (in Encinitas) Sunday morning. Kim and another friend, Anne, flew out to San Diego on Thursday morning and spent a long weekend at "Hotel Masherah."I had the good sense to take a vacation day on Friday AND drop Isabelle off at daycare, so the three of us enjoyed a nice, scenic hike at the Torrey Pines reserve. We followed that with an outdoor lunch, pedicures, and eventually dinner (and dessert!) at the Cheesecake Factory.
We spent nearly all of Saturday shopping and then took Anne out for pizza to celebrate her birthday a few days early. And yesterday we spent the majority of our time outdoors - our morning walk on the beach, another outdoor lunch, and fun at the park with Isabelle!
