9 weeks old!

Isabelle had her two-month check-up today; she is the 90th percentile for her height (23-1/2 inches) and in the 75th percentile for her weight (11 pounds, 12 ounces). Unfortunately for her, she started getting her vaccinations today so before we left the doctor's office she had to endure three shots in the thigh. She had tears streaming down her face and she stared at me the entire time, like "Why are you letting this happen to me?!"

Luckily she fell asleep in the car on the way home and she's now been snoozing for over an hour. The doctor said she'd probably be either extra fussy or lethargic today because of the shots, and it looks like maybe she'll go the lethargic route...

Isabelle has started smiling and cooing a lot, as you can see from the photo below. She had developed a case of baby acne when the photo was taken, but it finally started clearing up over the weekend and her face is almost back to normal today!

Didn't you cringe watching them give her the shots? I was in a room for a video shoot when they did it to a 3 year old. The tech just basically stabbed the poor little thighs!

Extra snuggles with her tonight, for sure!

Oh no..I hate shots. I cried just as much as Avery (well..to be honest, I cried MORE than Avery).

Jack had the baby acne quite a bit too...it clears up just fine. She is such a doll. I am excited for us to find out tomorrow if we are having a boy or a girl!
