Top Chef Chicago

It's strange that I love the television show Top Chef even though I don't like to cook and don't care for the Food Network. Last night was the season premiere of Season 4, which takes place in Chicago.

I think I like it because even though I'm not very talented in the kitchen, I love to EAT and it's fascinating to watch the chefs on this reality show throw together amazing culinary creations using exotic ingredients - especially during the 5-minute "Quick Fire" challenges.

One of the contestants who did well last season, Brian, is a chef at a seafood restaurant here in San Diego called Oceanaire. I haven't eaten there yet, but would like to check it out sometime...
