When Jason gets home from work tonight we're going to drive to Newport Beach up in Orange County and stay until Sunday. It will be a fun mini-vacation; his co-worker gave him some recomendations for good restaurants, shopping, and other things to do.
My day off was productive - I finished the first draft of my short story that's due in class. It's about 3,000 words, or 10 pages double-spaced. I'm happy because we can relax in Newport Beach without this assignment weighing on my mind!
